The Healing Prayer Institute

Healing Prayer Institute:

The Healing Prayer Institute is a non-profit ministry independently incorporated and in good standing with the Diocese of Cleveland. It is desirous of fully following the teaching of the Catholic Church. It is overseen by a Board of Directors.

The Healing Prayer Institute seeks to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ in power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Institute provides worksops and opportunities to grow in the understanding and use of the healing gifts of the Holy Spirit.

A number of lay people, priests and religious began to meet and discuss ways to equip people to pray for healing of the body, soul and spirit. After much prayer, discussion and planning, the Healing Prayer Institute outlined a number of workshops designed to accomplish this goal.

Inner Healing
Intergenerational Healing

Goals:

• To offer courses to equip people to pray with others for healing;
• To provide direction to the activities of the Christian Healing Prayer Institute through the efforts of a Board of Directors;
• To provide the Pastoral Ministry Office of the Diocese of Cleveland with information regarding qualified mentors, field-experienced supervisors and workshops/courses related to Healing Prayer Ministry for those Certification candidates interested in developing skills in this specialized ministry.
